Puppy treats and chew bones Light-weight soft leash and small buckle collar, and ID Tag Gates to keep your pet confined to a certain area of house, or an exercise-pen confinement set-up Brush, comb and puppy shampoo Dog dishes for food and water Pooper Scooper --- makes pick up so much easier, and rug cleaner. Get some white rags (can be bought in bulk at Home Depot). Optional needs: Travel carrier (soft kennel), container to keep dog food in (keeps it fresh), treat Jars, tooth brush/paste kit THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOUR PUPPY COMES HOME TO YOU: READ A PUPPY RAISING BOOK FIND A GOOD VET and schedule your puppy’s first visit for within 3 days of arrival. FIND AN OBEDIENCE SCHOOL, and enroll for after all immunizations are complete. Pets Mart offers Saturday classes if there is not a school in your town. We train our puppies ourselves. If you have a little patience it can be both a bonding experience for you and your pup and also very rewarding for yourself!
