It was a year ago today that I got word that my new puppy Tucker had been born. How I looked forward to having him in my family.

From the day I picked him up, he was a very special boy. There was  something about his appearance and personality that attracted people  to him like a magnet. I can't tell you how many times I was told, "He  is such a special boy."

In Tucker's short life, he stole many hearts, including my own. He  definitely made a difference in the world. I would come home to find  bouquets of flowers on my doorstep in his memory shortly after his loss.

I wanted you to know what joy Tucker brought to me and everyone he  encountered during his short life.

We just wanted to let you know that our puppy Gandhi is doing so well!  We love her more than anything, and she proves everyday to be a sweet, intelligent, extremely loving little puppy.  She has never met any person or animal that she doesn't shower with love.  :)  Although she remains quite petite, she has grown a lot since we picked her up.  She is now just over 12 pounds.  Training her is easy, as she is quick to learn and eager to please.  Her favorite thing to do is to run free in our fenced backyard.  Thank you for giving us the most beautiful, loveable pet we could imagine!  We are smitten!  :)  Attached are some from the last few weeks.

Thank you!

WOW, what a fantastic dog!  Housebroken at 11 weeks.  Are you kidding me?  He is extremely smart, very affectionate, has a great disposition, and is healthy as they come.  All, especially our Vet are quite taken by him.  The girls, mom and I couldn't be happier.  Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Mini Teddybear

Jasper of ours is one special boy.  I think he thinks he is human.  He keeps us laughing and well entertained.  And our daily routine is to walk after lunch which is his favorite activity.  He absolutely loves the snow...I make his snow booties to match his blaze orange jacket and he is good about getting dressed.  Sometimes I'm out for 2 hours with him.....and have benefited from the walks also.  And yes, he is a happy dog....thinks he is my lap dog, even though he is now about 35 lbs.
I think Hannah and Finnegan would be proud of their handsome offspring.
All the best, till next time.

We were writing you to tell you how much we love Lucy...   She is very smart (2 weeks to potty train with only 4 mistakes) and she is very mellow and sweet with everyone...   She gets to go to the dog park about 4 times a week and loves playing with all other dogs big and small...   Once a week, she gets a thorough bath and absolutely loves it and runs around like a crazy dog in the backyard afterwards...    At 91/2 months she is about 55 pounds and is getting stronger and faster everyday...    She loves car rides and feels very comfortable in her kennel for the little time she has to spend alone  ( about 3 hours) 4 times a week...    She has never chewed on anything other than her own toys, which we find very amazing...    Once again, we would like to thank you for the great start to life that you gave her and we will make sure she has a very happy, balanced and long life with us... Barney is the "joy of our life" and has added so much life to our home.

Thank you,

I just wanted to give you an update on our puppy "Killian".  The trip back to Ohio went very well.  Killian handled the two day trip as if he had been traveling for years. ( I wished my kids would have traveled as well). He is getting familiar with his new home, sleeping all night and the housetraining is going well. We had a major snowstorm yesterday and he could not be happier playing in the snow.  I don't know if you had a lot of snow banks but he likes to climb the highest ones and that is where he likes to go potty, on top of them.  He had his first doctors visit today and our vet gave him a A+. He complimented his temperament and felt that he is going to be very easy to train.   I am so happy I found out about your kennel.  I have recommended you to everyone who now wants to get a puppy like Killian.  Thank you for everything.

Mini goldendoodle

Attached are pictures of Mia.  She is really growing!  She gained over 2 pounds from the time she went to the vet for her "well check" to her next appointment for a vaccination booster.  We call her "Miss Smarty Pants" cuz she is really getting the potty training down.  Crate training is amazing!  She sleeps next to my side of the bed and I've been letting her out when she cries. Last night she slept through the whole night!  Yay!  Thanks for an amazing puppy!

Willow after haircut                                                    all grown out again!

Here is Willow after a major clipping so that she could pheasant hunt without coming home with 5 lbs. of cockelburrs!

She is the BEST dog!  She is so smart that it's almost scary, but she's also very balanced.  She loves all people, they love her, and she loves all of her dog friends!  She even balanced out a Jack Russell Terrorist that our son owns!

Her very best days are the ones that she gets to go hunting with Wayne!  He's been taking her out into the field right before she got spayed and then after she healed.  She has a very good life!

She absolutely loves our grandkids and when we're sitting around watching TV at night, if she hears the word "kids", her ears perk up and she looks at the TV, very attentively!

She's a great dog and we love her very much!

Thanks!  Wayne and Sue

Here is Willow, the pheasant dog, with her hair grown out.

We still marvel at what a "character" she is...so intelligent, such a "stinker" and so sweet with everyone that she meets.

Everyone that meets her thinks she is beautiful, and she is!

She loves the cold, loves the rain, loves the mud (yuck!), loves chasing the birds, loves kids and loves other dogs.

Did I mention that we love giving her a bath?

Thanks for a great dog!

I just wanted to say that gusto is soooooooooooooooo smart and is getting really big and is very cute.
We are so glad that we bought a puppy from you!
He already knows sit, lay, high five, rollover, stay/wait, and almost circle!!!!!!!
He goes crazy when he sees my grandma and loves all people. He's also our personal door bell because he barks at anything!

Sincerely, Scout

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that Grover is adjusting to life in his new home and is officially a member of the family :-) Thank you again for answering all our questions and being a great resource through this entire process. We will send pix as he gets a little bigger and let you know what new and exciting things he has picked up.

We are the family in Winnipeg, Canada that picked up Koda back in May.  Parents are Quinn and Angel.  Everything is going perfect and he's the centre of major attention everywhere we go.

Koda is spoiled rotten with many walks, hugs, love and trips to the lake (he LOVES to swim and take boat rides).  He is without a doubt the cutest dog ever and EVERYONE everywhere stops and asks us what he is and where he came from.  He was the top dog in puppy class and will do "WHATEVER" my 3 year old asks him to - this includes sliding down our slide into a pool!!! (as you can see from the photo they are bestest buddies).  Koda LOVES her playhouse, but has trouble respecting the "paws off" rule with her tea set.... Carter and Koda are what we call "litter mates".  They haven't figured out who is the puppy and who is the child.  Lots of running, rolling and fetching.  It's so entertaining!

Thx for your time!

Here are some updated pictures of Harper. She is sweet and loving and we can take her anywhere. Everybody thinks she is gorgeous. People are calling her a muppet or a polar bear. She is just losing some teeth and loves to play in her pool.  She is crazy about water and fetching balls.

Thanks!

The 8 1/2 trip home went amazingly well. I don't know if 'Paddington' was in shock or just liked being on our laps. By the end of the trip she was snoozing in the crate next to whoever was in the back seat. No carsickness or accidents!
The vet checkup went great. She was very calm and friendly, and everyone loved her. The vet was very complimentary about her health, conformation, and demeanor.

We can only echo what so many of your 'customers' say....'This is one great puppy!'

Just wanted to send you a recent picture of Doolin he is from Gigi's litter in April.
Can't say enough about how much we love this dog. He doesn't sleep through
the night yet and still doesn't get the potty training but for some
reason we still think we is the most perfect dog:)
Love him Love him Love him
The picture is with his brand new toy his human sisters bought him yesterday.

We were at our son’s baseball tourney this weekend.  So many people came up to Marley.  He was so good (10 hrs of games).  He’d sit by our feet on the bleachers and put his chin on the bench in front of him.  Looked like he was getting into the game.  We also saw 2 Labradoodles…I know we’re bias, but we would go for a Goldendoodle any day!

Jana...here is Willow 1 hour after arriving at our home.  She's looking pretty relaxed about the whole experience, huh?

She is so mellow and relaxed about every new experience, be it noise or people.  She had busy day today...went to the Vet for her check up and then my husband walked her on her leash into Lutheran Social Services and everyone just adored her, then she fell asleep on the floor of my manager's office!

Today she followed my husband all around the yard while he watered the flowers...he said she growled at the hose a couple of times!

Tonight she's been romping around the back yard...she's curious and every now and then I have to give her a firm "no" about not chewing the deck or furniture.  She's actually cocked her head a couple of times and softly mouthed some kind of response!  She knows what "no" means, but she's letting me know she doesn't have to like it!  What a smart girl!

You do a great job with the pups!  I'll send some more pictures in the future.

Just wanted to let you know that our "Gusto" is doing really well.  He's doing a nice job with housetraining.  We had our first lesson with an in-home trainer yesterday, and she thinks (not surprisingly) that he's "really smart."

He's gentle, happy and absolutely adorable.  We're so glad he's come to live with us.

Lambeau is doing so well! We just adore him. We have taken him to outdoor concerts at Lake Harriet several times, and so many people have stopped us to comment how sweet, cute, and friendly he is. He loves people and other dogs (and squirrels). He has quite a vocabulary and recognizes many words (especially the words food, hungry, squirrel, and the names of other dogs in the neighborhood). He loves his toys, bones, playing tug of war, and peanut butter in his Kong. He is getting lots of walks these days, and even a few short runs with Dad (who is training for the Chicago Marathon). We're going to Lake Okoboji for a few days in July and found a place to stay that allows dogs - so Lambeau gets a vacation too:)

We couldn't ask for a better puppy!

Medium Mini Goldendoodle

Here is our Willie (Blue Boy) at 6 months, 33#, neutered, all shots, puppy class graduate, waiting for basic obedience classes to begin.  I just trained him to the Invisible Fence on our 2 + acre lot.

Willie is very sweet, active, good listener, a bit shy, not quite a swimmer yet, silky wavy coat, but it was getting so long that I had him trimmed last week.  He still looks very cute.  He plays hard several times a day with our 2 year old yellow golden doodle, Ollie. Plus all 3 dogs get a ride in the car everyday to some place where they can run free in woods and fields.  Between playing with Ollie and the daily 2-3 mile hike, he isn't any trouble while at home.  In fact he hasn't even carried off a shoe or unrolled the toilet paper like our other puppies have done.  Having the 2 year old doodle keeps Willie out of trouble, and now the 12 year old golden, Teddy, isn't being tormented by the 2 year old Ollie, since he has Willie.

I highly recommend a 2 dog pack. The kids are grown & gone, so the dogs really help keep the house full of fun and activity.

Hi, my name is Bailey I was born on April 17th, 2007. My parents are Goldie and Winston. I am 60lbs and love my life. I have a big back yard that I run and play in. I have 3 children in my family and I love them dearly. I love to put things in my mouth and play games. I have been to two different dog training classes (Beginners and Intermediate) I did very good you would be proud of me. I have a brother that lives really close to me and we are going to meet someday very soon. Thanks for placing me to my family I am very happy and love to please. Bailey

Sam is now 5 months old and words can't describe how wonderful he is.  He is incredibly good natured. Training him has been a dream and personally we think he's about the cutest dog on the face of the planet!

I can't tell you how much we are enjoying Sadie. She won the recall contest at her last Puppy Kindergarten class. She won because, when she raced to our 10 yr old son, all of the other dogs ran after Sadie instead of to their masters!

She is a great dog. She's very social with all dogs and people. She sits and stays before going outside or before eating her food. She loves to retrieve. She has been housetrained for some time now.

I could go on and on. Thanks for giving Sadie such a good start. It's obvious she was well cared for before coming into our home!

Nick and I just wanted to give you an update on how Barley is doing.  For starters, he is such a great puppy, he trained so easily and he loves all people and dogs.  He's got such a great personality and he is so cute!  Everyone that sees him can't help but say how cute he is.  He loves being outside, fetch with either a frisby or a stick is his favorite.  He's about 25 pounds now, not sure how much bigger he'll get, but he's got a pretty impressive vertical.

He is just the happiest puppy who loves to play and we could not be happier to have him.  We are so lucky and we recommend this breed to everyone.  We just want to say thank you for choosing Barley for us....we couldn't imagine our lives without him now....he's the greatest.

We have attached a couple of pictures so you can see how he's grown.

Take care,
Nick and Meghan

Casey is a great dog and wonderful addition to our family. She is sweet, easy and eager to please. She exhibits some watch dog and hunting dog tendencies but then turns into a tour guide once someone enters our house.

She's a great companion for my wife and a buddy to our 2 sons. She is just about potty trained, rings the bell to let us know when it's time and has mastered a few commands - sit and down, and is working on stay and come ( with a little help from some treats ).

She's become much more comfortable with her crate and now lays next to us on the floor with her head and/or paws touching us. She doesn't fit comfortably on the lap anymore so she's figured out how to be touching us without being on top of us.

Thought I'd let you know that our first week went great!  Dax is an amazing dog!  He hasn't had an accident in the house for the past 2 days, he goes to his "potty spot" already AND when it's time for bed in the night he goes in his kennel on his own!  He also has slept through the night a couple of nights (9:30pm - 7:00am).  He is very good with the baby and she adores him too!  She is only 10 months old and already points to him and says "Da" (her first word) when she sees him.  Thanks so much!

Standard Goldendoodle

Tucker  is doing great.  We can't wait for the weather to change so that we can be outside, play ball, run around, etc.  We truly enjoy him.  He is very intelligent and listens well.  Cooper and Ian have definitely found a new best friend.

Thank you again.

Standard Goldendoodles

We are just crazy about these dogs! I wish you could see them....they are roughly the same height now; we think Bailey outweighs Clem by 5-10 pounds and she is 51 lbs. and has been pronounced 'perfect' by our vet. She is so much poodle and he is so much golden that it fascinates us to watch them.  She is slender and so erect with that wonderful poodle carriage! Her coat is quite curly, her tail is on the short side, her head is narrower. He is longer, sturdier and rangier and has a very long tail. She is teasing and adventurous, fast and nimble; he is all about love and food, galumphing about; just a wee bit cautious. They have been groomed and clipped since these pictures were taken; Bailey will go back to the vet soon and we will get an update on his weight. They look forward to our daily, 4 mile walk and we notice the difference if we have to skip a day! We are amazed, though, at how good they are at home. We don't crate them, at this point, and have found that they rarely do anything they shouldn't. Clem does have a fondness for the stray sock and will carry it around until someone notices and takes it away from her. Bailey 'talks' all the time and has so many expressive vocalizations that we find ourselves 'talking' back!

They add so much to our lives on a daily basis that each day has joy in it and is a gift to be treasured. We have actually day-dreamed about getting a third. Since you are creating all these different sizes, maybe we will go for a mixed set of 'nesting' doodles; like those tables that go one on top of the other!  Keep up the great work! I am convinced the world really needs more 'doodle'
attitude!

The boys are doing great.  Hairy fits right in here with us and it feels as if he has been with with just as long as Elliot.  We have attached some pictures below that might be our "New Year" greeting card cover but we have other photos as well.  (Note:  Hairy is on the left in all three pictures and Elliot is on the right).  We couldn't have asked for better doggies.  Feels like we hit the jackpot.

Standard Goldendoodle

Wylie, he is such a great dog! He was very easy to train and was house broken in just a few weeks (no accidents at all!).  I am not sure most days if he knows he is a dog, or just thinks he is just a kid! He is great with the kids and they love to show him off, he is famous in our neighborhood and all the kids come to play with him.  He and our Australian Blue Healer get along great and play very well together.  We could not be happier with our choice of your kennel and Wylie, it is hard to remember how small he was when we got him.  Our vet has been impressed with his health and disposition from the beginning! We just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and share how Wylie has grown in eight months.

Benny can't wait for Santa to come!!!!! He's so funny, just like a little kid. He brings us so much joy!

Things have been going well here with Mabel.  She is a very easy going mellow puppy.  We are still working on housetraining.  She does pretty good and she will ring the bell when we tell her to go potty outside.  We are still working on getting her to always be the one who signals when to go outside.  She's not 100% but we are getting there.  We crate train her and she does very well with it.  She loves her "den" and from day one she did not whimper or cry when placed in it  She loves playing outside in the snow with the kids and following them down the hill when they go sledding.  The kids adore her and she is very good with them.

Standard Goldendoodles

The boys are getting along great. And I love Chester; he is growing and getting fluffy. Sam is a great big brother to him!

Standard Goldendoodle

We love Mulligan. He is full of mischief. He can tear up a roll of toilet paper faster than you can imagine. His favorite is shredding newspaper. When he is mellow, he is the most affectionate dog imaginable. When he is playful, you quickly know how sharp his teeth are!! His coat is getting longer, and now is getting a little wavy. His nose is more poodle, but he gets mistaken for all golden retriever. His new best friend is our Yorkie, Maggie. They play hard! Mully forgets his strength, and trys to put his paw on her, quickly throwing her to the ground. She gives him a dirty look, and he kisses her to say he's sorry.

Mini Goldendoodle

Yesterday afternoon we collected Millie. She slept in her crate all night without a murmur and she has been eating, pottying without any problem. She has a wonderful temperament and has settled in very well with the whole family. We are delighted with Millie and we would like to thank you.

Thank you once again for everything. I could not have ever imagined that we could have a dog with the allergies in the family, but we have been lucky enough to have the most beautiful, loving, fun energetic little girl we could ever have wished for.

Picture coming soon

We are the proud owners of Cookie, the beautiful goldendoodle you gave us last June 2.  She is 8 months old now, and the center of our family!

Thank you again for raising such a sweet dog.  She is so loving, tolerant, and sweet.  We could not ask for a better dog!

Mini Goldendoodle

So far Barley has been absolutely amazing.  He learns very quickly, he actually gets our attention to bring him outside already.  He is also the most cuddly happy and playful little guy.  Very good job on picking him.

Thought I’d let you know that Remi is doing great.  As I type this she is out in the yard experiencing her first snowfall.  Usually after being outside for awhile, she likes to hang around the back porch in the hopes of getting in the house to play with humans or her toys.  But today she continues to chase thru the new snow catching windblown leaves.  Her black face is now white & quite comical.

In the late Fall with few golfers on the course anymore, we took her for walks on the golf course across the road and let her swim in the pond.  She continued to swim even with temps getting down in the low 30s.  Even after 3 water retrieves, most of the hair on her back was dry as a bone.  There must be lots of air buoyancy in that long hair in order for that to happen.  After the 5th or 6th retrieve, she was usually 90% soaked with just the dreadlocks on top of her head dry.  Quite a different looking dog at that point.  She was definitely an “outside only” dog for the next several hours.

The sand traps on the course also delighted her.  Must have been something about the texture of the sand on her paws that caused her to run back & forth thru them with such glee.  (We obviously won’t be able to let her do this during  golf season.)  But her absolute favorite activity (with meeting new people & retrieving things a close 2nd  & 3rd) is still “red dotting”.  She just absolutely loves chasing the laser dot up and down the steps to our lower level.  If we mention the words “red dot” in a conversation, she immediately runs to the steps and waits for it to appear.
